About Us

Seattle Civic Dance Theatre (SCDT) was founded as a nonprofit organization in 1985. We offer financial assistance, scholarships, and perform on a professional stage once a year and at local festivals throughout the year.

We are an independent organization that works with students from a variety of studios. We strive to create a fun, welcoming environment that is free of charge for all dancers. By bringing together students from studios across the Puget Sound region, we foster meaningful connections and friendships!

See our FAQ page for information on how to get involved.

What We Do

SCDT hosts two free performance opportunities each year and offers scholarships on an annual basis. Find out more below!
